How can you get Involved?
- Become an inspiring reporter
On August 12, go through your normal day as any other day. With one difference. I want you to look for something inspiring, something that makes you feel warm inside. Smile someone gives you, success you achieve, moment in nature that is unforgettable, anything that reminds you - it is beautiful to live.
Then take this one moment and write a short story about it. Or film a video. Or take a picture. Or send me a mobile text message. Do not think about the language or structure, don’t think about the quality or format, just be present to the moment and write exactly and honestly what is on your mind. Imagine you have the most amazing story and gift to share with others (and you do :) and just transfer it to paper, text message, video or a digital picture.
The last thing to do is to send this to here before midnight (CET) August 12. We will then compose a news broadcast out of your stories that you will be able to watch on August 13, 7.30 GMT.
The goal is to have at least 100 stories from at least 10 countries collected before the end of August 12.
If you wish to become an Inspiring reporter for my project, please send me a confirmation email to the mentioned adress by 4 August and at the same day, you will receive additional information about what to do as a reporter.
- Become an inspiring news spectator
On August 13, 7.30 GMT, watch the online broadcast. You will find information about the precise location of the broadcast at this website. The goal is to have at least 1000 spectators from at least 10 countries watching the broadcast. There will be a counter on the website so we will be able to tell...
- Become an inspiring supporter
Spread the word. My original plan is to connect people I know from different stages of my life and I would also like to give you the opportunity of doing the same for yourself. I have thought of 100 reporters and 1000 spectators, but who knows how many people this can be at the end? If you have any ideas that could help me in achieving this, let me know. I will be happy to hear from you.
